| This my brand new baby boy Javier, isn't he beautiful?   Hey there! I’m Evelyn Kay, the one guiding you home every day as the voice of Kicks Navigator Traffic. You can also hear me as the host & producer of Spectrum, a public affairs program on Kicks heard Sundays at 7am. Originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan, I’ve actually spent most of my life in the south. I’m a 2004 graduate of the University of South Carolina College of Journalism & Mass Communications, with a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism. And yes, I am a Gamecock fan! I started my broadcasting career as a radio personality for WTCB FM in Columbia, SC and also worked briefly in television news, but I realized pretty quickly that radio was what I really loved! Shortly after college, I married my husband and best friend, Eric (who I’ve known since I was 8 years old)! Family is a huge priority in my life and I spend most of my free time with my husband and both of our families. We are excited to announce the birth of our son, Javi, on June 11, 2009 weighing in at 7 lbs, 9 ounces! When I’m not behind the microphone, you may bump into me shopping at The Baby’s Room Norcross, getting all kinds of fun baby stuff for our new son, Javi.
