Charity Golf Tournament to benefit Shepherd Center (Charity)

Clogging Connection @ City Center Dance has teamed up with Chick-fil-a and Texas Roadhouse to raise money for Shepherd Center! Join us on Sunday, October 25, 2009 at the Country Club of Gwinnett for a charity golf tournament in honor of Matt Harvie. Starting time is 12:00 p.m., shotgun start, 4 person scramble. Discounts are available for registration before October 9th. Come enjoy a day of golf, fun, great food, prizes, and performances by the CCA national champion dance teams, the Southern Belles and CC Express!

4th Annual Chastain Dog Show (Fundraiser)

Fourth Annual Chastain Dog ShowChastain Horse Park is looking for Dog Lovers in Atlanta! We are hosting our Fourth Annual neighborhood Dog Show on Sunday, October 25, 2009 from 1-4 p.m. at the horse park. Proceeds from the event directly benefit our therapeutic riding programs. Dogs of all shapes, sizes and breeds are welcome, this event is fun for the entire family! Entry to the event is free, the cost to enter your dog in one of our featured classes is $3 each. Red Horse Stables Open House and Fun Day (Festivals)

SNAP 2 IT! HALLOWEEN PARTY (Charity)

A fundraiser to help raise money to spay/neuter dogs/cats in Geogia. SNAP was born from a group of friends who were assisting with no-kill shelters in metro Atlanta for many years. Collectively, we have seen multiple abuse cases and countless emails that circulate daily concerning animals needing to be saved from euthanasia in local shelters. While we feel that no-kill shelters are needed, we also feel more attention needs to be focused on low cost spay/neuter options and to educate pet owners about spaying and neutering, to prevent the problem from persisting. SNAP’s main goal is to offer free spay/neuter services to anyone with an animal needing to be fixed. Our second goal is to assist those in the rescue community and the community at large with managing feral cat populations by providing much needed food and spay/neuter services, to help decrease the growing number of homeless and unwanted pets in the Atlanta area and state of Georgia.
