Breakfast with Santa (Community)
Time: 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM
Location: Southeastern Railway Museum - Duluth
Join us on Saturdays in December for a casual snack breakfast with Santa. Our relaxed setting for this snack breakfast allows Mom and family time to relax while their child enjoys a few special minutes with Santa. The whole family can then join Santa on a train ride and special time visiting the museum. Train rides subject to operation of our antique equipment and/or weather Reservations are required and will be accepted at the museum beginning October 17. Your family can capture this special time with their own video or pictures without the high cost many others charge for pictures with Santa. The breakfast price is just $3.00 more than the regular museum admissions.
2nd Annual Dining with Santa (Charity)
Time: 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM
Location: Ball Ground Community Center ~ Ball Ground, GA
Come join us for breakfast or lunch and lots of fun! To benefit Cure it for Kids, A Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. Kids get to make a FREE Christmas ornament. Also have a professional picture with Santa by Iconic Images, LLC.
Christmas in the Park (Festivals)
Time: 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Location: Olde Town Morrow, 1415 Southlake Circle, Morrow, GA 30260
Representatives from area churches, businesses, and non-profit organizations will be in attendance at their Christmas themed displays and exhibits. Choirs and musical groups from area churches and schools will provide the entertainment for the day. Children can have their pictures taken with Santa Claus. Children of all ages will have the opportunity to ride Morrow’s “Lil General” Train and to play in a “Winter Wonderland” made up of REAL SNOW! At dusk, the city’s “Singing Christmas Tree” will help light Morrow’s Great Christmas Tree. Free for churches, schools, and non-profi organizations to participate.If your business would like to participate, you must become a member of the Morrow Business & Tourism Association. Christmas In Cumming (Holiday Event)

Location: Cumming Fairgrounds
The 13th annual Christmas in Cumming Arts & Crafts Show, takes place on Friday Dec 11 from 4p til 10p, and on Saturday Dec 12 from 10a til 5p. Held inside the Cumming Livestock Barn, located on the City of Cumming Fairgrounds, the show features 100 booths, free photos with Santa, Christmas Light Show, caroling, and more!

The Japan-America Society of Georgia 2009 Bonenkai Holiday Dinner & Silent Auction (Dinner and Silent Auction)

The Japan-America Society of Georgia (JASG) will be celebrating the winter holidays at the 29th Annual Bonenkai/Holiday Dinner and Silent Auction on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at the Fernbank Museum of Natural History in Atlanta. The Bonenkai/Holiday Dinner is one of those rare occasions when a diverse representation of members of the community gather together for an evening of celebration and entertainment. This year, the Society is delighted to welcome Takana Miyamoto as the event's special guest entertainer. The Bonenkai/Holiday Dinner will also feature the Society’s popular Silent Auction. This fundraiser will feature special Japanese items, airline tickets, restaurant certificates, and other exciting items. All proceeds from the auction will fund the JASG’s many educational, business, and cultural projects that bring together the Japanese and American communities in Georgia.

Breakfast with Biologists at Georgia Aquarium (Family)

Breakfast with Biologists-Starting in December 2008, the Georgia Aquarium will host “Breakfast with Biologists,” giving guests the opportunity to dine with experts in the aquatic field. Breakfast will include presentations on various aquatic subjects and guests will have the opportunity to interact with biologists right at their own table. Breakfast will be served in the elegant Oceans Ballroom.
